Join us for a full-day international event dedicated to the SACRED and SMARTOUR Erasmus+ projects—two European initiatives advancing compassionate care, cognitive accessibility, and inclusive environments for older adults across Europe.
The programme will present the mission and early outcomes of the SACRED project, including needs assessments, evidence-based approaches, and good practices. It will also announce the upcoming development of a new e-learning platform for healthcare students and professionals, designed to support future training in dementia care, disability inclusion, and multimorbidity.
The event will further highlight SMARTOUR’s work in improving cognitive accessibility in tourism and public spaces, promoting autonomy, participation, and quality of life.
Why This Event Matters
This European meeting brings together networks, policymakers, educators, researchers, practitioners, and organisations to explore new pathways for:
• Empowering older adults with dementia, disabilities, and multimorbidity
• Enhancing cognitive accessibility in care, tourism, and digital environments
• Strengthening collaboration at European, national, and local levels
A special focus is placed on the Valencian Community as a leading host, partner, and catalyst for innovation. Its active role in knowledge sharing and local initiatives will help shape future European strategies and best practices.
Roundtables will feature SACRED and SMARTOUR partners, the ENSEL, ENSA and ELISAN networks, and key Valencian organisations.
